The Support Group is made up of a devoted group of spouses, friends, and community members who are dedicated to supporting the Fire District's personnel.
The group plans and provides meals, hydration, and other support during larger calls such as house fires, extreme weather related events, extended rescues, long duration activities and events.
The Support Group also participates in community activities and fundraisers. Every year they sell tables at the Hoodland Fire Garage Sale to raise money for bicycle helmets! Their goal is to make sure all of the children in the Hoodland Fire District wear a bicycle helmet when riding their bikes.
Our Support Group does a phenomenal job of keeping our firefighters fed, warm, and dry so that they can respond to the next alarm in peak condition. The Support Group is always interested in acquiring new members that are dedicated to their mission.
